Sofia Planetarium
A favorite place for Sofia residents and guests
The Sofia Planetarium is an outdoor facility featuring a dome with a diameter of 5 meters and a height of 4.6 meters. Completed in 2022, it accommodates up to 15 seating places. Our team was responsible for the design and manufacture of the entire structure. To fabricate the dome segments, we engineered a mold and produced them using glass fiber. The projection image is generated by a set of four projectors positioned adjacent to the dome.
Presently, the planetarium is under the operation of our company and has welcomed over 35,000 visitors.
